Project Overview
ClassPass allows users to attend different types of fitness classes. The app can access 15,000+ studios and gyms. This app also gives the users better drop-in rates. They will be avoiding to pay membership for some of the gyms as well.
Problem
Inefficient features and interface that confuse the users
Goals
  1. Simplify the invite friend functions. Shorten the process of search the right fitness class.
  2. Easy navigation
  3. Improve visual design
Competitors
  1. Crunch Fitness: Similar idea to equinox. The benefit of this app is more affordable for medium income people.
  2. FitReserve: Only works in New York
  3. Equinox: This can only use at Equinox gym. Although the gym provide tons of different options of fitness classes.
Audience Research
To increase ClassPass users, we’re looking for more Male. we also want to attract more users from middle class people, who income drop between $30k-60k. Furthermore, increase UK and Canada users will allow us to gain more users.
Target Audience & User Locations
ClassPass is more popular in America and Europe country. The users are mostly female and between the age of 18-34. A lot of them are mainly working. According to the research, the users are located in United States. ClassPass has also located in other country as well. The percentage in other countries is less than 10%.
Target Interviews
To understand my target audiences, I interviewed three people that like to workout after their work. The interviewers like better presentation and design. They want to see the improvement the user profile.
